The Francesco Bellei & C. was founded in 1920 by the Bellei family in Bomporto. The idea of Francesco Bellei & C. which we know today, takes shape in the 70s thanks to Beppe Bellei who passed from the traditional method of refermentation in the bottle of Lambrusco to the classic method inspired by his great passion for champagne. This is how the first exclusive Modenese production of classic method from native grapes was born, which will then be completed with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir in the following years. With the entry of the Cavicchioli Family into the company has returned to produce with the method of natural refermentation in the bottle, the Ancestral method. Over the years the mission of Francesco Bellei & C. is to remain faithful to itself while taking into account and implementing new techniques so as to become a technological reference point for the territory and its grapes.
